Supplying a range of recycled materials to the construction industry to help protect the environment and reduce our carbon footprint.
Waste management and recycling has been an integral part of Mone Bros business for many years. Providing waste management and recycling services has presented us with major legislative and logistical challenges. Equally they have provided us with a commercial advantage. But perhaps more importantly, Mone Bros recognises and takes seriously the key role we play in protecting our local environment. The cost of sending waste materials to landfill continues to rise. Mone Bros can provide a comprehensive range of waste management services, designed to increase the volume of waste recycled and reused, therefore reducing our clients ‘waste disposal’ costs and carbon footprint. These ‘waste management’ processes include collection, segregation, screening, crushing, recycling, certifying and reuse.
Our recycling depots (based in Leeds) are managed by WAMITAB qualified personnel and are amongst the largest in the area. These facilities allow Mone Bros to recycle large volumes of materials, enabling us to reduce the amount of waste destined for landfill. Construction waste can be collected from site, using our dedicated fleet of wagons, or can be delivered to us directly. We have built up an enviable reputation of providing first class customer service, reflected by our large number of customers including: Yorkshire Water, Morrison Construction, Balfour Beatty, Bentley, May Gurney and Laing O’Rourke.
Caring for the environment has always been a top priority for Mone Bros. The waste is sorted at our recycling depots and separated, crushed or screened into the relevant grades. These aggregates are tested, certified and then made available to purchase at very competitive rates, to the commercial industry or private buyers. Our recycled materials are used in a wide variety of applications from major construction projects through to garden landscaping.
