Mone Bros supplies Leeds with Park and Ride schemes

Mone Bros has recently got involved in supplying materials for two new Park and Ride schemes across Leeds.

Leeds City Council along with contractor Carillion have constructed a second Park and Ride venue, with capacity for 386 cars, on Elland Road, close to Leeds United ground and adjacent to the original Park and Ride built two years ago.

Mone Bros supplied 5000 tons of Recycled 6f2 aggregate and removed over 1000 tons of spoil over the summer months.

Last month Carillion started work on Temple Green Park and Ride situated to the east of the city near the A1 link road.

Over 29000 tons of Recycled 6f2 were required for this venue which will have a capacity of 1000 cars.

Tim Sugden of Mone Bros commented: “We’re delighted to be involved with both of these schemes by providing a quality product and service and playing our part in shaping the city’s transport system.”
